- In 1973, he was born in St. Asaph, Wales. He moved as a baby with his parents to Canada, he lived in Ontario, Calgary and now near Vancouver.
- In 1988 Richard's grandpa died and later on also his dog - without lumping them together, he loved both very much and missed them a lot. Not long afterwards, Richard Ian got a liver virus and had to keep an eye on his health ever since - but he still feels in top form anyway.
- Some people saw him at a ticket sale for a show of the Rolling Stones' Voodoo Lounge Tour, furthermore: Outkast, Rock and Roll , Foo Fighters, Moby, Eminem.
