Everybody loves Jack Nicholson! And why not? He is the epitome of the charming rogue. Women want him, men want to be him.

His success is really astonishing since he's not an obviously attractive, Hollywood handsome type of guy. Short, balding, and with a giant head. But his eyes convey a sense of danger and playful, pranking wit that is extremely charismatic.

His list of roles is massive. From Chinatown to Batman to last year's Bucket List.

The only possible critique is that he plays the same character in every movie. But the world loves that character. We want to see the devilish Jack, and he keeps giving it to us. The man is an institution.

Jack nicholson is one of the best actors of hollywood. This is sure. Just look at his movies: One flew over the coco's nest, Shining, Batman, and more. He's fantastic, he can make bad movies much better.

He fits into a category I have created in which he is himself in every role he plays. In most cases that would be a drawback, in his it is why he is one of the most famous actors ever.

Superb Actor, many fantastic movies in his bag sutch as:

What I love about him is his ability to play any kind of role. He has acted in Comedies, thrillers, spoofs, gritty dramas, action/adventure flicks, you name it and he's done it.. and he's done it in style.

Who can ever forget such brilliant films like - The Shining, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, As Good as it Gets and A Few Good Men. nd who could have ever played the characters he played in those films better than him? - The answer to both questionsis a resounding NOBODY. The villains he has played have always been chilling and powerful characters.. made so by his portrayal. Whether it be his larger than life Joker in Batman.. or his proud and powerful Col. Jessop in A Few Good Men.

Jack is a living legend.

He is the most celebrated actor of his time and one of the top five greatest in the history of cinema. It can only be said that Jack Nicholson is the consumate thespian. While many believe that his finest role was that of McMurphy in One Flew Over The Cockoo's Nest. Chinatown would have to be equal or at least a close second. Nicholson's portrayl of private detective, J.J.Gittes, was phenomenal. The grit and moral abiguity of the character created by Nicholson will stand as one of the very best ever done for the big screen. Nicholson's other Academy Awards were all well deserved,but his miss for the Gittes role in Chinatown was nothing short of a travesty. The Academy really blew it on that one.

In his roles, you sense more realism than many other actor's who are considered more talented than he. Of all of his roles in all of his movies, my favorite has to be "A Few Good Men."
