Carly Smithson, 25, is originally from Dublin, Ireland. She began singing at the age of about 3 and knew from a young age she wanted to be a singer. At the age of 14, she moved to the United States to pursue a career in music. She now resides in San Diego, CA, working at an Irish pub, and co-owning a tattoo parlour with her husband. She was also in the Top 24 on Season 7 of American Idol.
