Teri Hatcher is such an amazing actress. She is very talented and beautiful. She had her first child, Emerson Rose, on November 10, 1997. She is famous for her role as Susan on Desperate Housewives. Her character has been through a lot in the past. Her character has competed for a man, was held hostage at gunpoint, has dated a doctor when she loved another man and blurted it out, remarried her ex-husband for health insurance, her boyfriend was hit with a car right before he was going to propose, she dated another man whose wife was in a coma when her boyfriend was in a coma, called the cops on her friend's husband because her boyfriend was being accused for a murder that people believe her husband committed, her daughter was in a hostage situation, her daughter was having sex with another woman's 18-year-old trouble-making nephew, and ruined her friendship with her friend several different times. She has portrayed her role as Susan beautifully. Teri Hatcher is definitely a television legend, and she definitely deserves to be regarded as one.

I rememer I used to watch and I used to like Lois and Clark a lot when I was a little girl.. When I first started to watch Desperate Houesewives I didn't recognize Teri Hatcher as the actress who played Lois.. I swear.. That's probably because I was very young when I was watching Lois and Clark.. anyway.. Teri rules is her role.. She is my fave housewives of the show.. She's so clumsy and funny.. I think Teri is doing an amazing job.. She is a perfect Susan.. I remeber thet scene where Susan is crying in her mum's wedding dress.. WOW.. a very intense scene.. I really like her a lot and I really think she is very talented.. She can easly pass from a dramatic scene (like the wedding dress one) to a funny one with no problem at all.

We can see a major difference in these roles as she was still young on the series Lois and Clark and we can see that a few years passed by when Desperate Housewives came out. One thing stayed the same with this actress and that is her talent for acting.

Teri Hatcher did a great job as Lois Lane on Lois and Clark: The adventures of Superman.

Teri Hatcher has played a multitude of roles in different TV shows and movies during her careers. Some more well known than others. Her main successes were as Lois Lane in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and as Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives.
She has said in interviews that she loved playing Lois Lane and will always be grateful to her for really making Teri Hatcher's career as before this, she was...well not as famous. However, she says (or it can be inferred) that she prefers playing Susan Mayer. It has brought her great success and the role of a single mother comes very naturally as she is in fact a single mum to daughter Emerson Rose, born in 1997. To me, she will always be Lois Lane, no matter how critically acclaimed she is from Desperate Housewives (and I know she is!), but her Lois is the best and will be the best forever. I suppose it helps when Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman is your favourite show...
I would have given her 10 for playing Lois Lane and probably a 10 for Desperate Housewives, even though I don't watch it, but just because she prefers playing Susan to Lois. She is and will always be superb and a very talented actress with perfect comedy timing.

I guess I first became aware of Teri Hatcher when she did that show "Lois and Clark" with Dean Cain. But, then she popped up on an episode of "Seinfeld." I'm not sure what was first, though I think the "Seinfeld"...

I guess I first became aware of Teri Hatcher when she did that show "Lois and Clark" with Dean Cain. But, then she popped up on an episode of "Seinfeld." I'm not sure what was first, though I think the "Seinfeld" appearance must have been. Anyhow, she's only been in a few films that I've seen. Her acting is okay, but she always comes off as having the same emotions in her roles.

I watched Teri on "Lois and Clark". She was funny, but... I think "neurotic" will be a good word. The thing with Teri is, that Susan Mayer (Desperate Housewives) is the same way. So for years I thought that's Teri Hatcher too. Weird, annoying, trying too hard to be funny and somewhat of a nag. It all changed last week, when I watched one interview with her. I started watching it expecting to dislike her more, but I was wrong (and I don't admit it often). I found Teri to be a sweet, funny, talented actress, with alot more then a pretty body (let's face it, she's not the most beautiful woman in the world). Learning about her childhood as an only child and the way her childhood was; Rasing a baby all alone; Those and other new piece of infromation I learned about her, made me like her more and more. And respect her alot more. But most of all, I was touched when she told about the abuse she's been through by her uncle, as a child. I swear I wanted to cry when told that story. That was the brave and amazing side of Teri, a side I didn't know was there, but was very happy to find it. As someone who's been though something similar to that, I completely admire her now. Don't get me wrong, I still don't like Susan Mayer, but I now have new appreciation for Teri Hatcher.
