I have always loved Elway since I began liking football, back in 1986. As he is one of the best QBs of all time, right up there with Marino. Elway is the best clutch fourth quarter QB, along with Joe Montana. He is like captain comeback. That could do it all like run, throw, catch, and occasionally adds a punt or two. He really was an all-around, all versatile QB. That got the job done. And was a team player, doing all he can to win the game for his team. Was on the HOF cla*s of 2004. And deserves to be so, in his first year of eligibility.

John Elway will forever be known as one of the best to ever play the game. His captivating 4th quarter comebacks served not only to entertain, but to inspire as well. With a cannon for an arm, and the fortitude of a bull, he truly was a field general. Gae after game he would make play after play, throw after throw, whether it be a hail mary of a pass, or a bullet right in between two defenders. Then, if the passing lanes were all closed (even in his final years) he would tuck the ball and run, sacrificing his body as exemplified in Super Bowl XXXII, in which his aged body was spun around like a helicopter as he picked up another first down to keep the Bronco\'s drive to victory alive. As long as you still had the ball, and it was in #7\'s hands, your team always had a chance to win, and not just a chance, a great chance.
My Final Review: Whether you think he is the greatest quarterback to ever play the game, the most exciting, or the most clutch, there is no denying that John Elway is one of the all-time greats.
