Steven Gerrard currently plays center midfield for Liverpool Footbal Club. He is the captain also. He is also on the English national team. He was born May 30, 1980. On Liverpool he wears the number 8, but on England he wears the number 4. He is also vice captain of England. He is a living legend! He is one of the best, if not the best, soccer player ever! He has some of the best shots I have ever seen. My personal favorite was in the game vs everton in january of 02 when he collected the ball and cut around the defender, and shot it right to the far post. Over all he is one heck of a player. with is best years still ahead of him there are certain to be more trophys headed to anfield.
Gerrard is already an anfield legend, the the liverpool supporter, can head, pass, tackle, shoot, he has it all.
He is a regular scorer for liverpool andsome of the goals he has scored have been amazing.
His finest moments include inspireing liverpool to a 2nd half come back while 3-0 down to win the champions leauge against AC Millan, and 2 goals in the FA cup final when liverpool went on to beat West ham.
