I first saw Mika on the International Channel video show Revolution, and while she looked like some goth gal with wild hair and dark eyeshadow, she did have a really nice voice when she sang hits like Yuki No Hana, Hinotori, and Love Addict. Her voice sounds like one of those jazz lounge singers, and as long as she stays in the middle vocal range and not attempt a Mariah Carey kind of song, she won't be off-key. Her albums are enjoyable, whether she's singing some hip ballad song or a redone classic. And her style is different from the typical Japanese bubble pop. Here's hoping for more great albums in her young career.
