The Fray was formed in 2002 in Denver by Isaac Slade and Joe King, two former schoolmates. Later, they got two of Isaac Slade's friends Dave Welsh and Ben Wysocki. Isaac's brother Caleb joined but was asked to leave. They gained stardom for their hit single How To Save A Life from their album How To Save A Life. Their producer is Epic Records. The Fray has played with many famous bands like: Dave Matthews Band, Augustana, and Jimmy Eat World. Other famous songs from the Fray are: All At Once, Look After You, and Over My Head (Cable Car), I think The Fray is awesome and I hope to continue to hear more great songs from them. Keep up the good work The Fray!

The Fray is the band that I've been searching for. I absolutely love them!!! Their soulful lyrics and different style of music are an awesome combination. I just LOVE 'em!!! The first time I heard The Fray was in the their music video for Over My Head (Cable Car) on VH1. At first, I wasn't really into the song, but then, because it was REPEATEDLY played, I started to like the song. I eventually went out and bought their CD. Aside from maybe 2 songs, I LOVE the album. My favorite song of theirs is Trust Me. :) The Fray rocks.

The Fray's combination of pianos and Telecasters is a winning pair. Isaac's fingers work like magic on the piano keys, carrying the rhythm of the song. The musicians in the band are all outstanding, but the vocals could use a little work. The...

The Fray's combination of pianos and Telecasters is a winning pair. Isaac's fingers work like magic on the piano keys, carrying the rhythm of the song. The musicians in the band are all outstanding, but the vocals could use a little work. The band's most successful singles, "Over My Head (Cable Car)" and "How to Save a Life" have stomped the masses and won the hearts of millions of fans. I'm one of those fans! I bought the CD "How to Save a Life" off iTunes and I'm in love with it. It's really great and is good for when you're in the mood for easy-listening; no workout songs on the disc. Overall I love The Fray and will be trying to catch them live soon.

I love how just a few months ago, there was just one review. Now, more people have begun to see the talent that The Fray have. The hit Over my Head was popular, but it seems that because of 'How to save a life', the Fray has gotten the recognition they deserve. They play wonderful music and have meaningful lyrics. The Fray is one of the most original bands out there, and because of that, I think more people will start listening to the Fray. The Fray have one album so far, How to save a life, and two EP's(CD's that contain more than one single, but are too short to qualify as albums). Reason EP and Mouvment EP. Both first and second contain amazing songs such as Ocean's Away and Vienna. If you haven't heard of the Fray,or haven't bothered listening, give it a try, because you most definetly wont regret it!

The Fray is one of my favorite bands. Unlike most music, you don't here them cursing a lot, and the lyrics always manage to capture some escence of life in them. I actually bought the cd after reading all the lyrics to every song. They all just moved me and I would have never looked up the lyrics if it wasn't for me liking the song Over My Head(Cable Car). My favorite song by them so far is Look After You, but one of the most meaningful songs to me is Trust Me. If you go to this lyric meaning website, and type in The Fray, you can click on some of the lyrics and see what the fans think, and all of them are great, Everyone I know loves them. I never stop listening to this CD How To Save A Life. As a matter a fact, I'm listening to it right now. If you don't like The Fray, then you have never heard their music. Listen and love! Oh, that lyric meaning website is if anyone wants to go to it is www.songmeanings.net

Well, I dont have 100 words on my word count yet, but I'm done writing my review...so I'll just keep on talking. Like OMG, lalalalalala! Omg, I'm running out of things to say. Arghh. Well, lets see. I also like the songs: Fall Away, Dead Wrong, Little House, and Look After You. I pretty much like almost all of their songs. They're are just a few that I think are too slow.

There you have it, The Fray’s masterpiece “How to Save a Life”, there may be some skeptics who say it’s just another mainstream band with no talent. Well my friend, take one listen through the entire album and you might be pleasantly surprised with the outcome. I had a change of heart after listening to “How to Save a Life” and “Over My Head (Cable Car)”. Trust me, this band is going to make a name for themselves, already opening for Ben Folds on his tour, The Fray is quite the band when it comes to pop-rock, and any other genres they might be in. Give The Fray a chance, they really are quite the band and are amazing live, if they stop by in your city, give them a listen and you will not be disappointed with the energy they put out on stage.
