The man responsible for the demise of one of the greatest children's shows in Canadian history. What can I say, I'll never forgive him for being the replacement to Bob Homme. He was part of the CBC conspiracy to screw over the Friendly Giant in order to raise Public uproar against the government's slashing of the CBC budget in 1984. His show may not have been awful, but he must be held responsible for his role in the destruction of The Friendly Giant. After over 3000 episodes, The Friendly Giant deserved to go out with a lot more class and fanfare. For shame Fred Penner. For shame.
