Marsha Mason was born on the 3/4/1942 in St.Louis, Missouri to Edward Marion Mason Jr. and his wife Catharine Kentwood-Mason. She has a younger sister called Linda. She grew up on Elmont Lane in Crestwood, MO. Marsha is a graduate from Nerinx Hall High School and Webster College. Marsha was married to playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon, and stared in several movies based on his writings including: 'The Goodbye Girl', 'Chapter Two', 'Only when I Laugh', 'The Cheap Detective' and 'Max Dugan Returns'. 'Chapter Two' was based on her reletionship with Neil Simon up to their marriage. They divorced in 1984.
