It's not easy playing a goddess, but when she was only 19 years old, Kiwi actress Meighan Desmond stepped into the role of Discord - Goddess of Strife - on not one, but three television series.

A student of the South Seas Film and Television School, Desmond left home when she was still a teenager in order to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Not long after that she landed her first major television role, as the recurring character "Lulu" on Shortland Street.

Most recently Meighan has worked behind the scenes of many movies and television series, although her first love is acting and it won't be long until we see her again.
