Bio
Musician David Crosby began performing in coffeehouses while in his late teens, but he first found success as a member of the 1960s group, The Byrds. Later he joined Graham Nash of The Hollies and Stephen Stills of Buffalo Springfield to form the group Crosby, Stills and Nash. Sometimes Neil Young joined them, forming Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. The group was known for their close harmonies. Despite his influence on the music scene, Crosby may best be known for surviving a long bout with substance abuse. He has been clean and sober since 1986.
