I knew Bella Hudson was also Erica Schroeder to begin with before registering on here. She's a good voice actress, but she has some of her roles that are not so good. Her good roles would have to be Dark Magician Girl & Mana from Yu-Gi-Oh! It was slightly cute when she did the role. As Wave the Swallow, Blaze the Cat, Monkey D. Luffy (and thank god that was saved by Funimation but Colleen Clickenbeard didn't really quite help that much to make Luffy sound good. But still, she did slightly better than Bella Hudson), it was not really good. In fact, just sucked. All of her other roles like Tikal, Shara the Ring Genie, Maria Robotnik/Eggman, Bridget (from Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power), Fonda Fontaine & Camula (from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX), they were somewhere between okay-good.

Bella Hudson is one of the more respectable VA's SEGA put into the Sonic series; she gives an overall decent and convincing portrayal of her characters. My only real problems with her is a lack of variation in her different characters' voices, and the fact that she's pretty much the 4Kids whore for the Sonic franchise: any new female character comes along, they just toss Bella into it, (E.G. Wave the Swallow, Shahra the Genie, Blaze the Cat, and Tikal the Echidna [Sonic X]). And, as pointed out by Spaction3 earlier, I'm surprised that she actually *wasn't* thrown into Princess Elise's role.

Bella Hudson is a good voice actress. She always seems to have a voice that fits the character. She also puts a lot of thought in the voice that she gives. Sometimes, I watch a show and (in my opinion) the voice doesn't fit the character at all....

Bella Hudson is a good voice actress. She always seems to have a voice that fits the character. She also puts a lot of thought in the voice that she gives. Sometimes, I watch a show and (in my opinion) the voice doesn't fit the character at all. With her, all of the performances that I've seen, the voice has fit. She has also, tried to improve voices of recurring or staring characters. (Miss Fonda Fontaine and Bridget Verdant are examples) Sometimes, from the first to last episode, a characters voice is the same. With her, the voice has a difference and is improved. She also put emotion into the lines as she reads them; almost as if I'm right there. I think that she deserves a lead role in a TV show or movie. (The opinions expressed are solely those of the writer)

Okay, I will admit, Bella Hudson is a good voice actress who gives a good voice to whom she is acting as. However, she is acting as WAY too many of the same characters from the same franchise, Sonic the Hedgehog. Since 4Kids has been taking over, she has voiced Tikal, Maria, Wave, Blaze and soon to be Elise and is giving them ALL the same voice. They have nothing uniqe about them anymore. Sega really did jump the shark when they hired 4Kids. And anyone who likes 4Kids hates anime in my opinion (Sorry but they REALLY do ruin each show except for Pokemon). When I found out 4Kids was still dubbing the games and that Bella Hudson was going to take over ANOTHER female character Princess Elise, I was deeply upset. Why can't Veronica Taylor take the role for once, she has a good voice for those roles as well and it would add more difference into the games if 4Kids IS going to still be dubbing them.
Until she stops being used so much and stops giving all the female Sonic characters the same voice, I have nothing nice to say about her.
