Daniela Saioni grew up in Toronto's notorious Jane/Finch community to Italian immigrant parents. She started acting at age 14 then got her BFA in Film Production at York University. She took a detour and had an illustrious career as a script supervisor for over a decade, working in several countries on major features and tv series before returning to her acting career after a brief marriage to former actor Jarred Blancard. She has directed two short films and continues to develop inde projects between auditions. She is a member of ACTRA, IATSE 873 and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
