Nothing like all the other music that's out there, and it's a nice change. Their lyrics are so powerful and actually heartfelt. Not some slapped together crap that makes NO sense. (Crap. I first heard of this band back during Season 2 of The O.C. Their song 'Dare you to Move' featured, and grew on my very quickly. At the time though, I never got into any of their other music.

A year later, the 'The Blues' (my all time favourite Switchfoot song) featured as the CODA in a One Tree Hill episode, and since then I have never stopped loving this band. I got my hands on 'Nothing is Sound', and absolutely loved it. One of the best "Whole" albums I've heard in quite a while. It is such an easy CD to listen to, and the lyrics in each song flow so smoothly.

I waited eagerly for their latest album, 'Oh! Gravity', and to be honest, when I first heard the title of this album I wasn't sure what to expect, but after a few weeks of listening, this album has grown on me very quickly. 'Faust, Midas and Myself' (I love the rhythm of this song, it's a joy to listen to) would be my favourite song off the album closely followed by 'Oh! Gravity', 'Dirty Second Hands', and '4:12'.

As for their first 4 albums, one day I'm sure I'll have a look into them, but for now the tunes from their latest album are enough to keep me listening for quite a while.

Awesome stuff, they're one of my favourite bands, they're also a Christian band, which if anything gives me more reason to promote them. They're albums go well all around the world.

Obviously aimed at the teenage to the young adult market what more can i say except that they're doing an exceptional job and that there should be more bands like them around!

I give this one five stars! Their music is uniquely written and has really taken them far.
