Robert Alexander Szatkowski is an american professional wrestler from Battle Creek, Michigan. He is better known by his ring name Rob Van Dam which is frequently shortened to RVD, He is best known for his time in the well known brand of Extreme Championship Wrestling known better as ECW, a brand of World Wrestling Entertainment better known by the name of the WWE. Robert Szatowski was born on December 18, 1970. RVD is now 37 years old. RVD debuted in 1990 after being trained by The Sheik. He wrestled his first match against Dango Nguyen in Toledo, Ohio. He wrestled in many independent wrestling promotions all across Michigan, including the United States Wrestling Association and South Atlantic Pro Wrestling. His finisher is the 5 star Frog Splash. He is a great wrestler and it would be cool for him to come back.

I remember seeing RVD the first time in a 6-Man Tag Team match with his partners Rey Mysterio and John Cena. I was really impressed with both him and Rey-Rey's acrobatics.

I remember seeing RVD the first time in a 6-Man Tag Team match with his partners Rey Mysterio and John Cena. I was really impressed with both him and Rey-Rey's acrobatics.

2005 was a bit of a quiet year for RVD because he had been injured for quite a while. But he came back in Wrestlemania 22 and won the Money in the Bank match and then went on to win the WWE Championship as well as regaining the ECW Championship once it came back on air. I've yet to watch ECW but I really want to.
