I truly love it and I am lucky that not only is it my career but it's something I really enjoy doing so it doesn't feel like work. Hopefully in ten years, I'll have an amazing family with a beautiful wife and little Kellan's running around to play football with.
- Kellan: (on fame) But it's definitely been humbling. To have someone who wants to take a picture with me or get an autograph, I mean, I'm just a normal person who acts. It's all for them so I'm quite happy to do it.
- Kellan: (on "Twilight" director, Catherine Hardwicke) She's an amazing director. She's really an actor's director and [she] gets down there. She doesn't sit behind the camera. It was really cool taking directions from her because she was amazing.
- Kellan: For me to say 'You're beautiful', I can only say that to my girlfriend. The word 'beautiful' has such a different caliber than any other word out there, like 'sexy', 'hot', 'cute.
- Kellan: I bet on everything. Everything. It's just like, 'I bet you I can spin my chair longer.' Everything, I say 'I bet you.' I love to win.
- Kellan: (on the best thing about acting) I have a lot of favorites, mainly the traveling! That is why I prefer filming movies versus Television. TV you could be stuck somewhere for years if the show does well enough, but movies shoot everywhere, and that is sort of a big selling point for picking projects...where is it shooting! I also love being able to be a completely different person in roles from one extreme to the next. Plus all the cool stunt work I am able to do if they have stunts for me.
- Kellan: (on what kind of acting he likes to do) I've always been a film junkie but I love TV as well.
- Kellan: (on why he can get cast for different roles) I have blonde hair and blue eyes, and I'm big enough to play the stupid jock or the star football player. Being choosy allows me to not be typecast. I've gone from a Marine to a vampire to a jock, and I've changed my hair and grown it out. Now, I'm playing high school again. I love being able to switch it up and seeing how far I can go with the boundaries.
- Kellan: Well my family is really supportive of it all and is glad to see me on TV or on the big screen which is great. As far as school, well it affected that greatly since I quit going to school to take the biggest risk of my life and pursue acting. I worked my butt off in high school and received a lot of scholarships for college and to throw all that away for acting was tough for my family, but it was just something I felt my heart pulling me towards and don't regret a single minute of it. I love to act!
- Kellan (about the 'Twilight' cast): This cast rocks! We get along so well together it's like a real family which is great to see.
- Kellan: I'm a farm boy who just wants to have a good laugh in life, with no regrets.
- Kellan: I'm a fish. I've been swimming my whole life.
