She's also very pretty. I love her hair and she's very fit. and very tall. She's 6 foot 2 inches.
Maria also worked very hard to get where she is today. she's been through a lot in her life too. When she was seven her father and her moved from russia to the US and they didn't speak English. They also only had 700 dollars.
I admire Maria for her talent, beauty and perserverance (sp?).

Maria Sharapova is a really good tennis player, and I got to tell you that I disagree with all those people that say that she is just pretty and that she does not know how to play tennis, but they are wrong! Maria Sharapova does really know how to play tennis and she is one of the finest women I have ever seen, if you get the chance to watch her play you should really do it, because she is just brilliant. Apart from that, she is also, though I hate to admit it, a really pretty and gorgeous woman that really gets the attention of the media. According to a TV program I watch she was cataloged as the third most beautiful woman in the whole world, and that is something! I really admire her, and I think she is pretty good!

The story behind Maria Sharapova is quite remarkable. At a very young age she left her home country of Russia with her father and headed for the States. It was there where her father, Yuri, worked multiple jobs to help kick of Maria's tennis career with a position at the famous Nick Bolateri's(sp) Tennis Academy. It was here a star was in the making....

The name Maria Sharapova meant nothing to the tennis world until mid 2004 where she basically came out of no where to win the Wimbledon Championships. This to date stands has her 1 and only Grand Slam singles title, but she has been impressive ever since the win a few years ago.

At the end of the 2004 season, she defeated Serena Williams in the final of the WTA Tour Championship, and for those who watched the match, it was a great come from behind fightback.

This young Russian was said to be the next Kournikova of female tennis, but this never sat well with Maria, and she proved the critics wrong when she started winning titles. To date Maria has collected 10 singles titles, and at only the age of 18, she has a very long career ahead of her.

Maria also has a ful-filled life away from the court also including her senior education via correspondence, and has a keen interest in fashion and modelling.

She will be a star of the future without a doubt, both on and off the court.

It's really now just a matter of sitting back and watching it all unfold for the Russian Bombshell.
