But Oda's sense of humour is amazing. And those who enjoy his books in English (I don't know about other languages) are missing out on some jokes.
I love the names and attributes of the characters, locations, and everything.
Oda gives us Panda-man to look for and Doskoi signs. The fans are so devoted that some even count the amount of hearts that Sanji emits.

One Piece is worth it. You really get attached to the characters. (Was I the only one who cried about the Going-Merry-Go? KANDOUUUuuuu)

I have waited so long for an anime that isn't repetative and never gets boring no matter what. He created that anime, One Piece! One Piece is a beautiful show that isn't cliched like most others. That's why I love Eichiiro Oda. He is creative, he is a genious and he started his career at a very young age. This gives guy like me hope for the future. This man is my idol! I love his work! If I were to meet him, I would personally shake his hand! He is just so great! Too bad he nor Toei will ever make a special in which the Straw Hats beat up 4kids for ruining OP.

Oda-sensei is a brilliant manga-ka. His smash hit manga One Piece has sparked so much enjoyment and delight, that it is almost impossible to go to Japan without seeing SOMETHING related to his manga or show.

Oda-sensei knows how to work a plot. Every arc, he introduces a fray of interesting and likeable characters. He then causes a huge mess for the main cast. Next he throws in some flashbacks, character developments, highly anticipated moments, reveals some of the many secrets of the manga, and ends it all with a grandiose fight and finale. Oda-sensei is one of the best storytellers around, as well of one of the best manga-ka ever. His work will go down in manga (and anime) history as one of the all time greats. In fact, it already has.
