Javi Grillo-Marxuach masterfully balances suspense, humor and intellect through complex character creation presented in pure, delightfully straight-forward prose. His writing draws his audience in and holds them, loyally, scene-by-scene. Through wit and originality, Javi pens his personal signature on each line, every time. I have been a fan of Medium from the start, however, I didn't discover until today that Javi contributes as a writer. Needless to say, I was not at all surprised, but, rather hitting my palm to my head sighing, "of course!" There was a comfortable familiarity with the dialogue that was readily apparent from the start . . . Javi!

What a great writer! Javier Rocks so much! If he can write for lost he can write for almost everything and anything! LOST is one of the hardest shows that I have ever seen to be able to write for because if you think about it there are so many different things that are going on which you have to adhere to, which in a case of a beginner writer would not be able to do at all! Javier can do this because he has a definite special kind of talent that is so unique and he is just a great guy to be able to work with, I bet! I'm a little upset that his lost career is over but I am completely sure that he will be able to do much with his career and I can not wait until I can see some more of his fine work!

I have followed this writer throughout his career, from Seaquest to the seminal Lost. His writing has an ingenous mixture of humour with pop-culture cool, you enjoy his writing on so many different levels and when I finish his stories I always have a little smirk on my face as i proudly proclaim to my neighbours 'Javier, you genius! you have done it again'. He's a personal idol of mine and I aspire to be somewhere near where he is in the future... maybe I'll even meet him! We could talk geek for hours I bet :P. I read his blog religiously (you should do the same) I have read all his unproduced scripts... and well I can tell you he is going places (lets hope he goes there after Lost is wrapped up, because we all know it's going to take a hell of a lot of talent to wrap up :P). Thankyou Mr Marxuach you have entertained me more than most.
