I have personally only ever seen him in one role- his first on the big screen (Princess Diaries 2). It seems hardly fitting to judge one's acting ability on one film (and a film geared towards younger viewers). Yet, I do believe him to be a very talented actor showing not only speaking ability, but also a great portrayer of the nonverbal side of acting as well. That is a rare find. He seems to be quite a real and funny person. The outtakes, bloopers and deleted scenes of the movie showed his real self and added more comedy to an already fun movie. He does some great impersonations, too. Mr. Pine's career seems to be heating up so I would have to assume that those in Hollywood have seen his talent and thus it does not need to be praised any longer. Well done!
