When I was little, one of my favorite shows was '2 Stupid Dogs' which Craig McCracken helped work on and I thouhgt that show was funny and cute then when I was 7, I started watching 'The Powerpuff Girls' and it became my second favorite show (my first favorite was 'Scooby-Doo'.) Craig McCracken did a good job making the PPGs hilarious and I'm amazed at how he based different characters on characters from classic shows. I enjoy the show even more now that I'm older and get more of the jokes I never got as a kid. I was kind of dissapointed when the PPGs ended but I really enjoyed his next show, 'Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends'. That show doesn't beat the PPGs in my opinion but I still see it as one of the best of Cartoon Network's original shows. Just like the PPGs, Foster's was a very enjoyable show and it had lots of good parodies. I was excited when I found out that the PPGs where going to have one last episode in January of 2009 and when I saw it, I was very impressed with it. It didn't do any perminent changes to the PPGs and it was still kept faithful to the series. I got the complete series boxset of the PPGs on the day it came out and when it was one of the best DVD boxsets I've gotten yet. It has some of the best special features I've seen on any boxsets and the best part was the commentary. I was very impressed with it and it told about pretty much everything about Craig's cartooning history. I'm looking forward to seeing what cartoons Craig McCracken does next.

The summary speaks for itself. Craig McCracken is a very talented person. He is an excellent show writer. It's no wonder why "The Powerpuff Girls" were so popular. It's no wonder why "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" is so popular. They're both superior shows in my opinion. Craig McCracken is a genius in my opinion. When the Powerpuff Girls came out, I instantly fell in love with it. Ever since I began watching it, it has gained a sentimental value to me and it has become one of my number one favorite shows. The same goes for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Craig McCracken is one of my favorite show writers and he always will be.

He started out with 2 Stupid Dogs, which was not the worst start. His first cartoon was The Powerpuff Girls, an Emmy award-winning show, one of Cartoon Network's biggest hits, which sold a horrible lot of merchandise throughout America AND the world. I used to be crazy about that show. Now he's at Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, arguably the best show on CN right now, and overwhemingly popular, of which I am also a fan.
If you look at it everything he did was a success- what he's doing now is also a success. All his work has a natural, amusing style about it that he always pairs with humor. And it all comes off...awesome.

Although I am a stout hater of the Powerpuff Girls (and therefore I used to be the stout hater of the guy who thought them up), now I have changed my opinion of Craig McCracken (although I still hate the Powerpuff Girls) over his recent show, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. The show idea as much as the humor and great animation is taken for granted by many and I think it takes near genius to think of an idea that kids (and teens...cough cough) actually enjoy.
Though the idea is great, the choise of animation and humor (sometimes wry and often sarcastic) is also what made me into a person who woud feel honoured to shake the hand of near genius who created the show

Whether it be the Powerpuff Girls or Foster's, Craig knows how to make a successful hit with these shows, using what he loves most: drawing.
As a kid, McCracken has been taking an interest in drawing, which lead him to the California Institute of Arts, which he eventually graduated from. Inspired by the Beatles and obscured Japanese movies, he made his debut on Cartoon Network with the Powerpuff Girls, which debuted in the late 90's. After the show was officially done, he went on to make Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, which quickly became one of CN's biggest hit, due to the originality and theme of the show.
No matter what he does, Craig McCracken can create anything original.

He is so talented. he should be given more credit for his work. today some people don't care about the hard work other people put into things such as cartoons. then the directors and other crew members don't get the credit they diserve. I think that people should stop getting rid of his good shows on Cartoon Network and keep them on there.

I think that he is one of the best cartoon creator's since Yuji Naka (who created sonic the hedgehog) He's such a very talanted person, his shows are very good that he's worked on, from 2 stupid dogs to the very latest series foster's home for imaginary friend's. after all those years of drawing as a kid have certainly paid off for what he's done, I can't wait to see what he comes up with next and I hope he continues working for cartoon network and I wish him the very best of luck in his career.
