I loved her as Faith in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and in the show Angel. The bad _ _ _ slayer, with a bad past and a uncertain futcher. The Yang to Buffy's Ying. Dark vs. light. Then she enters the show Angel, trying to kill angel and slowly starting on the path of redemshion. She was fun to watch, either butting heads with the cast of Buffy or Angel, or fighting side by side, in the good fight.

And in her staring role as Tru in Tru Calling, a short lived show about a girl who relives the day after being asked for help by the dead. She played a sad girl who had not got over the death of her mother. Of all the roles she's played these are my two favorites.

I felt compelled to rake this woman over the crtitical coals because I've recently undertaken re-watching all of 'Buffy' and 'Angel'. With this said, I cannot understand anyone who has a good thing to say about this loser. Even Joss Whedon can't get enough of her (he's building that new show, 'Dollhouse' as her vehicle), but just because the man has gifted us with some wonderful television/movies, doesn't mean he's the best judge of character.

Eliza Dusku is a one-trick pony. Essentially, she re-hashes her 'Faith'-schtick in every role she's blessed with getting paid to play. I'm going to keep this mainly focused on her protrayal of 'Faith', but seriously, go check out some of her roles in movies like 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' and tell me she isn't invoking the same performance.

The idea of a "rogue Slayer" is fantastic. The idea that there's an evil YING to Buffy's wholesome YANG is just damn creative story creation. So, as I tear this woman down, please do not confuse it with what the show's creators/writers were trying to accomplish. Dushku appears to be perfect casting for the role. It requires someone with a whorish-demeanor, low-intelligence, and a knack for getting right under your skin and dwelling there. Douche-ku does this to an extent, but the problem here is she doesn't make it interesting. You don't love to hate her, you just hate her... and even worse, you're ANNOYED with her. An average scene with Douche-ku as 'Faith' goes like this: Faith: "Don't you just want to be a big whore after you're done slaying, B?"

Buffy: "Not really."

Faith: "Nobody cares about me, B... I'm misunderstood, B... I do what I want, B... Don't you just want to be a big whore after you're done slaying, B?"

Rinse and repeat. Her character/performance is so repetitive you want to puke. She is so obsessed with herself and her sexuality that it makes her more unattractive with every word/gesture. Count Douche-Ku is not an attractive woman. She looks like someone who just missed the Downs Syndrome assembly line. She has such a short, awkward little body I can't understand any attraction to it. She is the cinematic equivalent of cancer. I find her talentless, boring, and unbearable to watch in any given scene. She has no depth, no range, and relies solely on making "humping motions" to get through a scene. The thing that makes me sleep easy at night is the fact that Douche-ku will never leave a lasting impression on the entertainment world. She will never be an A-list actress and will never leave behind anything resembling a legacy. Let's just hope she puts in for early retirement.

When I talk about Eliza Dushku people always ask... "Who is she?", these people need to be woken up quickly! They are missing out. Dushku is possibly the most talented, beautiful and intelligent actress there will ever be and yet she is not as well known as she should be. It annoys me so so much. Her talent is shown through her amazing acting ability, take Faith Lehane (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) for instance. Dushku had such a difficult task with the character of Faith yet she pulled off the part with 100% Flawlessness! She was able to maintain a unique and quirky dialogue and at the same time be the damaged bad girl with a brave face, the friendless drifter who hid all emotions yet hinted pain and sadness! You couldn't ask for more! As for her beauty... this girl would look good in a bin bag! Her intelligence shines through her ability to master any role she is given, especially when that show involves technical medical jargon such as 'Tru Calling.' Dushku as Tru, one word... faultless, why that show was cancelled I have no idea! Anyway that's my small take on the Boston born marvel :)

But enough of that, Shes also very talented, Most people probably know her as Faith in Buffy The Vampire Slayer & Angel, She also had her own show a bit though it didnt run very long, Nonetheless its really good and I recommend watching it, Its called Tru Calling.
You might also see her in a few comedy's such as Bring It On, The New Guy, Jay And Silent Bob, And the horror Wrong Turn.
She started acting early so you might also catch her in some older movies as a 12 year old, When she was 14 she did True Lies with Arnold Scwarzenegger.

Eliza Dushku is the type of woman that makes me think of my sexuality. I'm not kidding when I say she is fantastic in all retrospects. And aside from her looks, she is a talented actress. Not only can she play evil slayers like Faith, but she can play victims (Wrong Turn), the hero in Tru Calling, and just your average cute girl (The Kiss). I enjoy Eliza Dushku very much and I wish she was in more things. I haven't really heard about her doing much of anything and that makes me sad. I always try to support actors/actresses in anything they do.

I wish she would have take the Faith: The Vampire Slayer spin off show. Wrong Turn is also one of my favorite movies and Bring It On is hilarious. I hope her show on FOX gets picked up... I'm am sure that if they do i will tune in every week to watch it. Eliza Dushku is an underated actress that can be so much more.
