Richard carries plenty of car knowledge, and definately has a brilliant sense of humour is the show Top Gear, which he co-presents. Richard ( nicknamed Hamster ) by his fellow presenters on the Top Gear show, is just an amazing presenter, his humour adds to the show significantly and his car reviews are always of top quality. He definately has a love of speed, and nearly lost his life last year when he crashed a rocket powered car, but bravely got into the seat of a formula one car this season to test drive.
All in all, hes got the humour, knowledge and can really drive a car well.

A very cool guy and a talent host! I saw him for the first time in Top Gear and I liked him in an instant.. he's great.. he knows how to do his job.. and one of the few people that are truly courageous. But he truly had me at Brainiac.. he put a smile on my face every time I saw him. He's just great. I don't know what else to say about him.. Just watch him and you'll get what I mean.. I;m more than sure that you'll love him immediately.. I guarantee. Hammond, you so damn rock! Keep the good job going !!

Where would Top Gear be without him. He is the reason why this show is no longer just showing us performance cars, but about all round entertainment. The way He and Jeremy bounce off of each other is truly fantastic, and when they combine to make fun of James is always hilarious. His cavallier attitude towards risk taking is legendary, pushing his own limits constantly. This only serves to make the show more entertaining. It would be great to see him involved more with the celebrities on the show. I feel he would have a great rapore with them and would be more entertaining than Jeremy. Jeremy's ignorance and mocking can be funny at times during these interviews, but if Hammond was involved as well they would be that much better. You just have to watch the cool wall section to see the potential.

OK yeah, Richard Hammond is a good television presenter but he has got to be one of the most annoying at times. The fact that he drives a left hand drive 911 makes him slightly uncool because that has got to be one of the worst things to buy! Out of the 3 Top Gear presenters he's not exactly the tallest person ever and he isn't as boring as James May is a lot of the time. Although I do think that it wouldn't be the same if he wasn't in Top Gear.
I like the way he presents Brainiac moainly because every episode there is a caravan blown up and I don't think that would be if Hammond wasn't the presenter.

Jeremy jokes that he is on TV all the time which is a little over the top but he does have a point he is on TV quite a bit. As a co-host eh is very funny because his views are exactly the opposite of Clarkson's so it makes for funny viewing watching them argue.
The only shows that I think Richard is any good on is Top Gear and Brainiac two stupid yet funny shows. he should stick at what he does best and stopping trying to dominate TV.

So for me Richard Hammond is the reason I watch Top Gear. I think he is the funniest of all the presenters on the show and I love the enthusiasm he brings to the show. He puts up with so much from the others on the show, like the jokes about his height or the time when he said he was a driving God (that just may have been the funniest Top Gear moment ever). Overall I just think that he is a fun guy with great taste in cars. He also has a good sense of fashion sense and he is hot too.
