The Bad thing about living in the US with TTTE is Michael Brandon. Hes a Very Childish sounding Narrater. He basically is no Michael Angelis who I wish could have been the narrater in the US Like Originally Planned for Season 7. Because of Michael Brandon Season 7 has the Crappy new Music rather than the good music done by Mike O'Donnel and Junior Cambell. Im glad Pierce Brosnan will Replace him because cannot stand Michael Brandons Voice and knowing he ruined Season 7 for America. Even so He was alright i Saltys Stormy Tale, Harold and the Flying Horse and Bulgy Rides again in the Thomas and the Jet Engine DVD and VHS but thats because the original music was used due to Season 6 with Alec Baldwin who did a good job I dont care if he made James sound like a Homosexual.

In the age of the internet, the era of YouTube came up. I became a regular visitor to find the newer Thomas episodes. Some were American and I had to sadly endure Micheal Brandon. The newest American narrator seems to be the worst! I must agree...

The newest American narrator seems to be the worst! I must agree with most of the bad wrap he has been given. Most of his voices make the engines sound whiny and nerdy or if the engines have a cold. His narration is alright but he makes lots of mistakes, espically the famous Rusty Gender confusion. Some are sad to see him go but personally I couldn't be more pleased

A lot of Thomas and Friends fans think that Michael Brandon is a bad narrator but I'm not one of them. I think he is a good narrator and he should stick around for a while. He has a very kid-friendly voice that is full of enthusiasm and excitement, making it seem like you are actually there on the Island of Sodor (where the show takes place). He has been narrating the show since it's seventh season and he also renarrated the sixth season. Sometimes he can give the engines silly voices and it can get annoying after a while but his enthusiasm is so great that it almosts makes you overlook that fact. Michael Brandon is a good narrator and you should really give him a chance.

Michael Brandon, the newest narrator of "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends" is a totally underrated actor. His body of work covers stage, screen, and television with exemplary performances in all venues.
Not only is he a fantastic actor, but he directs when he gets a chance and does an excellent job of it. the DEMPSEY & MAKEPEACE episode "Guardian Angel" is one of the best episodes in the series. It's filled with erie lighting, great camera angles, and smooth transitions from one scene to the next. The suspense of the opening scenes grabs and holds you throughout the entire episode.
Mr. Brandon can be funny or intimatating when the scene calles for it. He can also exhibit tenderness and vulnerability as needed.
And his voice is to die for! I just love listening to it. I'll turn on "Thomas & Friends (I don't have any young children) just to hear his voice.
He's someone who I definately would like to see more of on U.S. television and large screen.

Michael Brandon is the new narrorator for Thomas & Friends. He is narrating seasons eight, nine, & the new season ten when it's aired. The best episodes he's done are the news that feature the new friends on Sodor. My new favorite characters are Dennis , Neville, & MightyMac. I'm glad that Thomas has a new narrorator so that the show can go on.
