Bio
Christopher Awdry is the British Author who has kept Thomas the Tank Engine running. At the age of two he had the measles and the Railway Series was invented for his benifet.
As he grew up, he developed a passion for drama and announced to a friend he would became an author. He attended Workshop College before working at a Railway Magazine which led him to get the idea for Triple Header. His father soon read that story, and the three leading up to it and Wilbert told him to tell Kaye and Ward, the publishers, about them. With a television series on the way, Really Useful Engines was published.
Christopher wrote 14 Railway Series books before nice publishers Egmont got the rights following the Reverend Awdry's death. Christopher continued to write annuals and his own series under Sodor Enterprises, but in 2007 managed to publish Thomas and Victoria, the latest Railway Series book.
