Bio

Robert David Hall was 31 when he had the accident that would cost him his legs. His car was crushed by an 18-wheeler in 1978 and he suffered burns over 65% of his body. He now uses prosthetics.

He has married 3 times, and divorced twice. His only son, Andrew, was born in 1981 to his second wife.

Since his monumental successin CSI, he has become an impassioned spokesperson on the importance of hiring actors with disabilities. He has testified before Congress, and served as a national board member and chair on the Performers With Disabilities Committee.
