Bio
Jonathan Ke Quan was born Ke Huy Quan in Saigon, Vietnam. His family was forced to flee when Communist North Vietnamese Army defeated the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN), during the Fall of Saigon.
At the ripe age of thirteen he was shot into stardom with Harrison Ford in the money train Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. . His brother was the one who actually auditioned for role of "Short Round", he just followed his brother along, but the casting people decided to pick him instead. The next year in 1985, he played "Richard 'Data' Wang" in The Goonies. An action film about a group of west coast kids facing their last days together before a development paves over their homes. "Andy" played by Sean Astin, stumble onto evidence of pirate's treasure, which attracts the attention of a family of criminals. The movie made way to become a cult c of the 80's.
He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinema Television.
More recently, Jonathan can be found off screen. His latest known venture was a stunt choreographer for X-Men and The One, with Jet Li.
