Alex Cappelli is based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Unlike many people in the industry, Alex had no desire to go into acting. During his teenage years he began writing amatuer films and progressed into starring in them as well.
Alex decided to attend a local Drama School in 2000 and slowly started to make a name for himself. The work panned out and in 2001 Alex was signed to his first agency.
He began in guest roles on Australian TV series such as Blue Heelers and Stringer. This then progressed to a leading role on the TV series Short Cuts.
His first movie role came about starring in Hating Alison Ashley.
Since then Alex has also stared in the movie Little Oberon and is now back on TV doing both regular appearances and guest star roles.
Away from his acting, Alex enjoys spending time with his family and his four cats, Lulu, Maisy, Pretty and Bruiser (who is also called Sweet).
