Butler is attractive and a decent actor. He recently played a role in the great romance, comedy movie based on the book Ps i love you. The movie is one to at the the shelves and remember for many years to come. Gerard was only one of the good looking male actors in the film. Another was Jeffory Dean Morgan. But thats for another time!!!
To say the least, i beleive that many will be tuning in to see what this star will do next. More films? Televison? Hopefully we will definately see more of him because Butler is definately a sight for sore eyes. HAHA. -a.fan.and.fellow.member.

Even in a movies that don't have anything to offere he offers continents of talent. His prescence draws you in and with his seductive yet gentle voice he can carry any performance.
And the man can sing to boot! As Erik/The Phantom, in The Phantom Of The Opera, he was astounding. With no operatic training he blew every other prrformance of Erik out of the water, in my opinion. However, f your tastes draw more towards the more operatic actors who have played Erik in the past you may not agree. But his passion to the role really comes through in the movie. Putting in every emotion you can not help but fall head over heels in love with this man.
You may not agree but chances are that is only because you have never seen his work. I demand that anyone this applies to go and rent The Phantom Of The Opera right now. You owe it to yourself!

When I first saw Gerard Butler, it was in the Phantom of the Opera. He caught me with his acting right away. How he moved his body, his head, and especially his lips was incredible! And that wasn't even the end. When he sung, his voice was the most precious voice I have ever heard, just hearing it made you want to cry at one point. After this movie, I had to see more of him.
That is when I saw Timline, and once again he took my breath away. How he talked about passion and love. He stole the show away from Paul Walker for sure. Paul Walker was unable to show the love that Gerard showed.
In my opinion, Gerard Butler is one of the greatest actors of all time. I know that people back me up on that :)

Gerard Butler recently landed his big break as the title character in Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic musical, The Phantom of the Opera. Gerard Butler ruled the screen, playing the character of the phantom as more of a tragic lover then a horrific creature that is portrayed on the stage show.
The way that Gerard Butler plays this character, it is easier for me to idenify with the pain he goes through as a hideous creature that lurks beaneth the opera house who has fallen for a woman that he knows he can never have. It is easier for me to understand and relate what he has gone through. That is something that I love in an actor.
In a world where 'talent' like Orlando Bloom and Brad Pitt rule the world of pop culture, Gerard Butler is a fresh and long-awaited talent that critcs and audiences alike has been waiting for a long time!

Butler has an ability to draw the viewer to him, make him/her feel what he is feeling. I appreciate this ability and salute his talents as an actor. I have seen many films in my life and know of a few films that would have done better had Butler been cast. A charming personality and a handsome exterior make him a prime canidate for any romantic lead. I will remain an avid fan of Gerard Butler in the future, and I look forward to seeing him in a blockbuster hit as a major lead!
