I am thrilled that he got an Emmy nomination. I have been aware of Lee for the last few years. I saw Soldier's Girl, in which he convincingly played a transsexual performer. Lee and his co-star Troy Garity both blew me away with their talent and compassion. Lee has played a killer in Infamous, the bio-pic about Truman Capote. Even while playing a homicidal rapist, Lee made his character believable and sympathetic. I highly recommend both of those movies, but my favorite character that Lee Pace has portrayed has got to be Ned on "Pushing Daisies." It is truly a unique show filled with characters that make me want to watch week after week. Missing "Pushing Daisies" was one of the main reasons I was so depressed by the writers' strike. Ned, the baker, is refreshingly romantic and sublimely sweet. Lee is beautiful and talented. He chooses to play diverse, interesting characters. His voice is so rich and languid I want to swim in it. He is definitely one of my favorites and one to watch in the future.

I have never heard of Lee Pace until Pushing Daises arrived as the piemaker, loner, lovestruck Ned who brings people to life with one touch but two touches will leave them dead forever. Pace I think has a lot of promise and potential as he has gotten nominated for a Golden Globe as best actor in a comedy. Can't wait to see much, much, more from this actor. Even if Pushing Daisies ended, but I hope that it won't go anywhere nowhere anytime soon. But he is kind of reminds me of an young Edward Norton. Great actor that is good at comedy, drama, etc.
