I loved A&C when I was a kid - still do! As funny as Lou was, Bud was always my favorite. Handsome, debonair, quick-witted, he was the one who taught Lou most of the routines they did! Whenever I see any A&C piece, it's Bud I keep my eye on, because he set 'em up so Lou could knock 'em over! Most any comedian will agree: Bud Abbott was the best straight man ever. It's the straight man who defines the strength of a comedy duo. Bud was a perfectionist in his work - & it showed! I miss him!
