Concept art of Iron Man's archenemy The Mandarin hits the internet!
For those of you out there unfamiliar with Iron Man's history, Mandarin is one of his greatest foes. Introduced in 1964, the Mandarin is a formerly wealthy Chinese nobleman who explored the dark arts after the Communist Revolution deprived him of his money and position. The Mandarin has been teased as the ultimate villain for Iron Man, and director Jon Favreau has stated many times that he appeared in the first film and will appear in this film.
