There has been fierce speculation about the next X-Men related movie, be it X-Men Origins: Magneto, Wolverine 2, or the long rumored X-Men: First Class, including here.  Well, I guess X-Men: First Class wins!

Screenrant talked with producer Lauren Shuler Donner about what we could expect from a X-Men: First Class movie:

“It is the first class of Xavier’s school, way back when, so it’s young Scott, young Jean, young Beast and that’ll be really fun, I think (the plan) is to follow some of the characters into their own stories, and weave them back into the X-Men world.”

“And hopefully First Class will become its own franchise and we can follow them as they grow up.”

So who do you think will join Emma Frost and Cyclops?  Do you really think we'll see a young Beast?  Maybe that young Storm who was deleted from X-Men Origins: Wolverine?  A young Jean Grey?

Lauren Shuler Donner has also said that this is not true.  What do you guys think?  Wishful thinking or is it really happening?
