Over Her Dead body stars Eva Longoria Parker, Paul Rudd, and Lake Bell, with funny scenes from Jason Biggs. Parker plays Kate, a ghost who died on her wedding day to Henry (Rudd). A year after the tragedy, Henry still hasn't moved on. In an attempt to make her brother happy, Chloe sends her brother to a pshycic (Bell). Yet unconvinced of her powers, Henry falls for Ashley, the pshycic. Unfortunately for Ashely, she actually does have powers. Kate's ghost starts haunting Ashely in an attempt to break up the couple. A truly nice romantic comedy that we haven't seen in a while. A real treat you can say. Jason Biggs is really funny in this, as is Parker. Over Her Dead Body and Cloverfield are the only films I can really recommend in this really early year.

This movie seemed to be a vehicle to make longoria a movie star. What she was thinking making this movie is beyond me. The story is very silly and not even funny. Longoria plays a lady who is getting married but she is very controlling. On the eve of her getting married something happens where she is killed. She goes to heaven or to some room and then she is sent back to earth. She finds out that her fiance is miserable and that he goes to a psychic. The psychic ends up wanting to hook up with her fiance so she decides to make the psychics life hell. Somewhere in here is supposed to be some comedy. I did not really see it. More and more silliness ensues then she changes her mind and at that point you really do not care. The acting in this movie is decent but nobody here really shines. Longoria really picked a bad movie to be in with her actual screen time is half of the movie. This is a poor movie not worth a viewing. Skip it.

A very good movie to watch a have a good laugh. It was really funny and I liked watching it. We have some good acting in this movie and the story was interesting. It is a movie worth watching to have a laugh!
