When he learns that Flash was gaffer on many of Hollywood’s classics, Cameron pursues him all the way to his home, The Motion Picture Residence for the Elderly. Here lives a colony of aging film folk who are delighted to be acknowledged in what Flash calls a “throw-away” society. Ostracized and neglected, these characters inspire Cameron and agree to help him make his film.
