A vast improvement over both "Band Camp" and "The Naked Mile", but alas it still falls short of equaling any of the first 3 films in the series.

The film plays off like an "American Pie" version of "Animal House", with a little bit of "Revenge Of The Nerds" thrown in aswell. This actually helps give the film a level of likeability towards it's characters, unlike the previous 2 films in the "American Pie" STDVD series.

Unfortunately it's bad bits do outway it's good bits. Choosing nerds as the bad guys was an idea that failed to pay off well, but the main problem was in relation to the increased level of smut (thus the R rating) of the film. Although the original film's sexual angles were far from clean cut, they at least new when a joke stops being funny, and end up becoming trashy. This film does not. The OTT ejaculation sequences weren't funny, they were just unpleasant. The film-makers also seem to have totally overblown the levels of nudity required for the film, almost to the point of matching the levels of flesh and sex shown in a Russ Meyer movie.

Passably enjoyable, but only just.
