Well, they only found the camera, it doesn't mention anything about the 2 left at the end of the movie.
Wasn't the monster moving away from them? We couldn't use Nukes, so they'de have to use a weaker missle, Maybe they're still alive!
Anyway I hope, the beggining got you caring about if the characters live or not.
I think the unanswered questions will be revealed in THE sequels. (it's gonna be profitable only cost' em 25 Million to make.)

was rooting for the monster. lets those morons get crushed/eaten/exploded. Still awesome. I am super doubtful that anyone from the bunch actually lived. Even helocopter chick probably bit it at some point too.
Also, you may want to alter your title, its a little spoilerific itself. puts out the impression that important characters might not be dead. Might go with something like "the ending" or something like that.

The moral, don't go trying to save the girl you slept with, who was seeing someone else anyway in a tipped over building in the middle where the monster(s) is and drag your friends into danger, when you could of escaped a while back. It wasn't the monster tha't killed them, well some of them, you know how horror movies play out.

they didnt live, remember, tape recovered. and they mentioned they were gonna bomb NYC. considering the monster just ate the best friend. they were in central park beneath the monster under the bridge, no one was gonna save em cuz it was the last helicopter out that went down, and the fact that the bombing happened right above em where the monster was. there way no way they survived the shrapnel from the bridge. and the possible napalm explosions.

I just watched it on DVD tonite, and if they were to live, this would be my guesses.
Jason(brother who got pwned on the Brooklyn Bridge) could have somehow landed in the water and swam to safety.
Lilly(helicopter escapee) is the obvious candidate for survival

Hub(best friend) he got eaten, there is no chance
