I was confused with this movie, I really didn't get it, thought it was a bit much, The acting was ok, But a very poor and over the top storyline. I give it 2 stars.

Gerard Butler did a good job with his committed father and made up fiction hero characters. Pretty good movie overall.

You don't normally associate Jodie Foster with comedy, but she's fine in this, as is Gerard Butler. I thought it was an enjoyable movie, with good performances by the actors who were let down by the script. The story just didn't amount to much, not even considering it's a movie aimed at children. A bit of a waste for the actors involved but still worth watching, so not a total loss.

For children of all ages. A family film that everybody can watch. Good fun
