a cool movie,though it is an animation movie but it is better that most of other movies of these days...
the story is good,so is the sound actors,and every thing in it is good.

What a surprise I was in for when I saw this movie. I just thought it would be another stupid Disney movie (see Hunchback of Notre Dame 1+2, The Little Mermaid (1-3), and anything like that), but it turned out to be one of my favorite movies of all-time. It's a major improvement on Disney's part.

So, the movie starts out with a girl named Penny adopting a dog we see playing with a squishy carrot toy. Not so long after that, the movie becomes all actiony and there's a chase scene with a guy called "The Green Eyed Man." So, Bolt, as Penny names him, is teamed up with her to rescue her dad. Then, it turns out that we were just seeing an episode of a Bolt TV show being recorded. We learn that this isn't really what Bolt is--a super-powered dog. However, Bolt doesn't realize this, and that's what the studio is trying to keep him thinking. This proves to be a problem when they finish shooting the next episode, because Bolt thinks Penny really got captured and she needs to be rescued. So, he goes after her and ends up across the country.

There, on his way back to "rescue" Penny, he meets 2 new friends--Mittens, a female black cat with a bit of an attitude and a goofy hamster who loves Bolt's TV show.

Back in the studio, Penny misses Bolt terribly and just can't part with him, even when he's replaced with an identical, but different dog. She needs him.

I won't give any more of the movie away in terms of the plot. You'll have to see it for yourself.

Now, the humor in it is on the lame side in some areas, mainly because this is a children's movie, but there are some parts which I found to be funny, and you may find them funny, as well, if you haven't already seen the movie. The story is a very good one with a very good message. I can't say what the message is, since some of you haven't seen the movie, but let's just say it's a very good one. In short, this is a highly above average Disney movie (for this era), and it would be a shame for someone not to see it.

This is a wonderful movie with some amazing visuals and heart. Disney has finally found it's old formula without the Pixar stamp on it.

Ahhh... finally a good non Pixar Disney film, it's been a while. A overall simple tale that has the charm and keeps moving. Just what it should be.

A much better improvement than Chicken Little, Bolt is an amazing Walt Disney animated movie of 2009 and it's a must watch for you and your loved ones. Bolt involves a wonder dog who gets separated from Hollywood and he is determine to find his precious owner Penny. However, Bolt finds himself in a bit of a trouble as he actually thinks that he's a real super dog with superpowers and he has to realize it himself when he steps into the real world. Furthermore, he has no experience with the outside world but with the help of a stray cat and a overreacting hamster, Bolt sets off on a new adventure to return to Hollywood and eventually reunite with his beloved owner.

This latest cartoon from Walt Disney may not have any spectacular soundtrack but there are a couple of songs that fits the movie well. The storyline has an amazing balance of fun, comedy, action (A little bit), and drama. All in this one great movie in which only Walt Disney can pull off. As much as hysterical laughters are concern, there are some sad moments which makes you want to shed a tear. You may not cry on the outside, but you will cry on the inside. It's just gorgeous.

Nothing else to add expect to say that if haven't watched it already, what are you waiting for? Go watch it now! However, there is one little thing I would like to add if I may: who the hell uses a Polaroid Camera anymore? Honestly.

Believe it or not, Bolt is actually a great movie. I just saw it with my family and we all liked it, but I might have been the one who enjoyed it most. I was expecting it to be ok, but I got a lot more than I expected. The story is pretty funny, it involves the dog Bolt, who is a famous dog in a TV show, thinking the superdog stuff from the show is all real. So when the higher-ups of the company know they're losing the interest of the older audience, they decide to make the show a little darker and less predictable by having the girl, Penny, get kidnapped. Bolt, thinking it's all real after shooting the scene, escapes from his trailer and gets out into the real world, from Hollywood he gets accidentally shipped in a box all the way to New York. And so the dog who thinks he has super powers forces a cat named Mittens (who he thinks to be the TV show villain's cat) to help him get home. Along the way they meet a cute and absolutely hilarious hampster ironically named Rhino, who pretty much makes the movie into a pure comedy from that point on. It's really a great movie, and while it looks like it's for kids, the humor appeals to all ages, AND it's clean. It may have typical Disney story elements, but this is easily the best representation of those elements in a long time. The animation looks like it's fresh off the Pixar oven... which it very well could have been, considering the animation studio is now owned by Disney, and that benefits the movie a lot giving it superb animation. The voice acting is also great, namely that of the three main characters (Bolt, Mittens, and Rhino). So anyways Bolt is a really great movie I recommend anyone go and see. I consider it among Wall-E and Kung Fu Panda as far as best animated movies of the year goes. All three of those movies (Bolt being the third, obviously) get a score of 8.5/10 from me.
