This film is one of the funniest films I have seen in ages. It had me laughing throughout.

Dreamworks have done it again. Classic animation film, with an all star voice cast, with Jack Black leading the way as the voice of Po. The storyline follows a panda bear with a dream to become a kung-fu master. When he gets chosen as 'The Chosen One' he has train to defeat a great enemy. Kung Fu Panda is filled with plenty of humour for kids and adults alike with jokes an induendos targeted for both. It also has the slapstick comedy coming from the actions the characters take. Overall this film is one big laugh from start to finish, Definatley was in the running to be a summer blockbuster, it was just beaten by the realease of 'The Dark Knight'. If you want a light hearted film to take the kids too, or if your a couple and want a easier afternoon with laughs then this film is definatley for you.

Just waiting to see wot Dreamworks do next, other than Shrek 4 of course!

I´ve seen that Kung Fu Panda has a lot of mixed reviews. Some like it very mutch, and some not at all. Myself I fall in somewhere in the middle.
The story in Kung Fu Panda is original for an animated movie, allthough it has the basic form of "Belive in yourself and you can succeed with anything". Which of cource makes th movie very predictable. The directing is good, they take advantage of the animated look to do stuff you couldn´t normaly do in a movie. The script has a lot of realy funny moments but is, as I said very predictable.
When it comes to the acting, it is very good, especialy for a movie like this. Jack Black does a great job as the main character. Hoffman is funny and serious in the same way which is an unusual talent in comedy.
While it isn´t any new animated classic or any groundbraking film, it is a highly entertaining movie with great animations and acting performances.

For me it was not about watching a big fat Panda but watching the plot unfold. I especially liked the voice cast, which was probably wasted on the little ones, but I appreciated hearing some of Hollywood s best behind those incredibly colorful characters. The fight scenes where actually better than some of the action movies that came out this year, two thumbs way way up.

I was very surprised when I came out of Kung Fu Panda and not liked it too much. The movie was praised, I don't really understand why. I found the story promising at first, but it became boring and way too silly, even for a cartoon. The theme of the story is basically the same as all cartoons, "Don't give up", "You're mrant for something greater", and all that nonsense.I do however applaud the voice acting from Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, and Ian McShane, and I found the shots and artwork fantastic. But other than that I don't see where all this praise is coming from. I do admit, it had it's moments, and don't get me wrong, I am recommending this film, it's just I don't understand why it is so highly praised. It's not a bad film, it's just not exactly a good one either. Like I said, I am recommending this, but it's only worth a rental and not $10.00 at the theater when there are better movies out there. The plot is basically a flabby panda who works at a noodle shop with his dad, who happens to be a goose, has a secret dream of joining the Furious Five. They are an elite group of silly animals who look like stuffed animals. Po the Panda, voiced by Jack Black, go's to the "tryouts" for the Dragon Warrior, who is said to be so strong that he defeated all his enemies without even trying and blah blah blah. Po gets chosen, everyone is skeptical, in the end he's a hero, the end. Like I said, typical cartoon.

i know how you felt dissapoitned with shrek the third last year i didnt found this movie good but kung fu panda doesnt have that dissapointment that made shrek the third but its not ah sequal i have to say i this movie theathers last week i have to say the casting was great and story was pretty fleshed out the animation was good and the humor was descent in the movie it takes place in the valley of peace wich were goose and pigs and rabbits roam free then we meet po ah panda that works in noodle shop it starts off with ah animated intro then cgi i not ah fan of cgi but the ending in it was pretty good even though with great script the only thing i didnt like about is that the casting it was pretty good but the humor is pretty funny but it gets pretty medicore well this is good flim it reminds of one good flim toy story were the story was good so was the humor but this one isnt that super good but the animation was good but the fact that joile couldint been main role instead of jack well jack did good but theres nothing very interisting the story was flushed out bit even though with talking animals theres nothing interisting about the plot its bit bad from the start but overall this is ah good movie from overall i give this movie.

3 and half stars out of 5.

The Good: great animation and computer graphics soild voice-acting.

The Bad: the story was flushed out ah bit its bit to short.

The Ugly:........ nope.
