Written and directed by Richard Shepard (THE MATADOR) the movie is based on the article “What I Did On My Summer Vacation” by Scott Anderson, from Esquire Magazine (October, 2000). The film stars Richard Gere, Terrence Howard, Jesse Eisenberg, James Brolin, Diane Kruger and Joy Bryant.
