I was hoping for more. If you watch this movie without knowing much of the history behind the making of this you may get confused. I thought the movie was good but it needed to be explained with more description. I am going to watch it again...

I was hoping for more. If you watch this movie without knowing much of the history behind the making of this you may get confused. I thought the movie was good but it needed to be explained with more description. I am going to watch it again because I think I missed some things and I know a lot of the history of this movie. Now, when are we doing to see a good movie about Rommel and his part (if any) in this. After all he was forced to commit suicide as a result of Operation Valkyrie.

It was an interesting movie with few creative liberties given to keep the true story aspect. I just didn't know at the end of the movie what it was I sat through for two hours. Did they ( Singer/Cruise) want to preach or tell the true story!

I found the fact that this was a true story to be fascinating. It's been a long time since their was an realistic action/suspense thriller movie about WW2. From what I've read, the movie seems quite faithful to history, but I'm not entirely sure....

I found the fact that this was a true story to be fascinating. It's been a long time since their was an realistic action/suspense thriller movie about WW2. From what I've read, the movie seems quite faithful to history, but I'm not entirely sure. Judging it purely as entertainment, I would say that it was enticing, interesting and that Tom Cruise did a superb job at acting out Stauffenberg. I like how the movie raised the awareness of the american and international public that not all germans were happy under Hitler's Regime. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys suspense thrillers that are realistic with memorable witty lines.
