This is a faith based movie, so if that sort of thing doesn't appeal to you, you might not enjoy this.
Overall the plot of this movie is very clean and simple, but the overall theme, the concept of sin and the idea of redemption is well played and uniquely laid out. The sin eater is sort of a man believed to be capable of taking away the sins of the dead. In their small town, such an old world way of thinking was highly needed. The character of the sin eater was well played, but the best acting came from the young girl.
This movie has a very made for TV feel, but that said, it was worth watching and holds to its divine inspiration.
