A terrifying (not in the horror fashion) look at abuse in the life of a young woman whom finds herself left at an Aunt's while her parents travel for work. Gertrude, played by the every talented Ellen Page, is sacrificed at the fearful hands of a terrible woman.

The acting is dead on. The terrible moments of torture un-godly and painful to watch. A great reminder of things like the gullibility and need for guidance in children, without which the struggle can shift them in dangerous unknowing animals. Catherine Keener is great as the Aunt living out of control.
