This film is just incredible. Every detail and scene are just perfect and realistic. The performances are great and even the subtle humor works

I liked it but the ending wasnt that good the villian just gets hit by a car and some guys just kill the main character in some hotel after long build up and all the suspensful action they just cheat you but all in all it was a good movie with...

It had great directing a strong beginning, but the movie just never ends. There is no ending. You are left with suspenseful buildup, but it never delivers, so when the credits roll, you feel cheated.

But seriously, who the hell cared? The only thing everyone was worried about was: Who is Anton killing next? I thought the movie was wrongly focused on Anton's killing spree, instead of the persecution of Edd Tom for Anton and Llewelyn's worries of being found. Perhaps less violence would have made the film some justice. I can't help but think...Didn't There will be blood deserve the Oscar more than No country for old men? I suppose that's for each one of us to decide

This is a great film, one that, if taken at face value, will completely fly above your head. If you're the kind of person who likes to decrypt movies after their runtimes conclude, then this is definitely the film for you. If, however, you are looking for a more immediate (repeat: not shallow) experience, then the movie is still good, but not brilliant. All in all it's a great character study, but I wasn't wowed the way critics and users promised.

Javier Bardem's performance is just downright scary and brilliant. It had a good plot and was also directed brilliantly by the Coen brothers. Highly recommended to everyone

I felt like they were trying for the quirkiness of Fargo but missed it by a mile? Not a bad movie but not a whole lot of great in there either.

How utterly depressing. The Coens have built a nihilistic world that is very engrossing, and I was riveted to the movie from beginning to end. I'm not sure I like the ending, but I understand it based upon the movie's premise. I spent most of the movie hoping there was grace somewhere between the stupidity of Llewellyn Moss to the coldness found with Anton Chigurh but the Coens refused to budge anywhere. Even Anton wasn't spared from the violence.
