willis did a really good job here some of the best action scenes ever this 4th movie in the die hard series is the best even better then the first I think some people said they didnt like it because bruce was to old well he sure doesnt act like it...

How can the same thing happen to the same guy so many damn times?!?

I for one am glad it happened again to John McClane in Live Free or Die Hard because it is one great summer action flick. It would seem that with each successive adventure, John McClane has to traverse way more territory. In the original Die Hard, McClane was confined to a corporate building, in the first sequel, it was an entire airport, in Die Hard with a Vengeance, he was all over New York, and here he's practically all up and down the East Coast! This time around, the bad guys are cyber-terrorists, and it's always about the cash as they wreak havoc on the United States to try to steal everybody's financial information. Half the fun of this movie is watching how many different ways McClane can kill the terrorists. Bruce Willis hasn't missed a beat. Sure he's bald this time around, but McClane is still grumpy, haggard, and witty as ever. Justin Long is the sidekick this time around and does a good job playing the geeky comic relief. My only problem would be Timothy Olyphant as the lead terrorist. To me he was just more annoying than menacing. He pales in comparison to Alan Rickman, William Sadler, and Jeromy Irons in the previous movies, but then again, he is supposed to be a geek terrorist so maybe I should cut him some slack. I liked this movie so much, I even watched the commentary and can appreciate the film even more now that I know that going into filming, they had not finalized the script and made certain things up as they went along going so far as to even rearrange scenes. Thankfully, it all worked out, as the movie is a remarkably tight and believable action flick.

Live Free or Die Hard was a pretty good action movie, but there isn't anything too special in this movie.

This movie revolves around John McClain (Bruce Willis) and a computer hacker, Matt Farrell( Justin Long). McClain and Farrell take on the responsibility to save the United States from a firestorm on all of the Untied States information systems.

This movie contains the standard action scenes that we've seen in many other action movies. You will see car chase scenes, helicopter attacks, hand to hand combat, and also some interesting computer hacking skills that give this movie a unique twist.

Overall this movie was nothing special, it was a run of the mill action movie that is worth a rent.

John McClain is back! He didn’t come back to sip tea with anyone, hold hands with anyone or talk nicely to the bad guys…he came to kick their butts! John McClain doesn’t take crap from anyone! If you don’t believe me, just ask all the bad guys who he killed in the three movies before this one. The fourth Die Hard finds McClain still a detective and against a computer hacker. Some of you might be thinking the same thing I was thinking before I saw the movie and that is John McLain can’t even work a typewriter so how would he go up against a computer hacker. Well, he has help of course. Justin Long (the Mac guy) plays a hacker (go figure) who had a hand in starting to throw the crap in the fan in first place and now he is trying to make amends by helping McClain figure out what the main baddie is doing and how to stop him. As far as action goes this movie doesn’t disappoint. It has all the kinds of action we have grown to love from the Die Hard movies with some added over the top action added for good measure. John McClain versus a jet is a fun watch with all the explosions and bullets flying that you could ask for. This movie is a great movie for the series. Hopefully this will bring about more action movies with Willis because that is the way he started his career and he is good at it. This movie is a definite buy in my opinion if only to see the unrated version of the movie so the signature line can be heard in full and not “Yippie kie aie mother BLAM BLAM (goes the gun)!�

John Mclane is back! This was my first Die Hard movie. I didnt see any previous movies. I liked this movie. The action scenes were top notch. Really cool scenes. Bring on Die Hard 5 too!
