I think Shia LaBeouf is really growing into his acting career, and it shows in this film. I won't give it five stars, but it is definitely a favorite. The movie is a bit predictable, but that doesn't take away from the suspense and it does get your blood moving. The whole idea of the "quiet neighbor next door" being an insane serial killer is quite fun too.

Loosely based on an Alfred Hitchcock classic, Disturbia is an entertaining thriller with a good amount of suspense and a bit of action and even comedy thrown in. The movie has a great cast all of whom deliver very good performances.

In a time of crappy torture-gore flicks it is nice to see a film that goes back to the Hitchcock standards. Although there were a few technical issues, this is one of the best modern teen horror movies I have seen in a long time. Shia is amazing, hated the girl, Morse was definitely creep material. The camera work and writing are what really made this film work. Basically, a big thank you for returning to genuinely creepy suspense horror.

This movie will have you at the edge of your seat. It's really great. It's really tense. Shia LaBeouf is great in this. And the guy who plays the killer (I don't know his name) is really creepy. This is a scary movie. Awesome!!!
