I'm a movie lover and this one was hilarious, I laughed a lot and it's not even a comedy. Maybe it wolud have worked better if they hadn't been so serious about it. The acting wasn't good, the premonition thing didn't make too much sense, the whole thing was historically wrong (let's also consider the animals, the civilizations, the environment).
I'm one of those that justifies all the stupid things that happen in films by saying "don't be so serious, it's just a movie, have fun", but not even I believed the ending.
I'm not saying "don't see it", because I enjoyed it, but it's not good if you are objective.

Good movie. Don't really understand the storyline. Some humor was good, the scene with the sabretooth was hilarious. The whole premonition thing didn't make any sense.

The whole point of this movie is pretty bad. I mean, a man running across the world at inhuman speeds to save the one he loves and get to a 2000 bc kingdom while encountering 10000 bc creatures is just stupid. They were not really going at inhuman speeds, but going from the mountains to the jungle to the fields to the desert through the dunes in that time is just impossible. Another immpossible feature was the river at the end. How does he plant crops and suddenly there's a river. I mean, global warmings not that fast and they didn't have Al Gore there to show it. I can't say the acting was bad but it wasn't good either. The poor dialouge and bad timing just made it worst. The visuals were nice but not as good as it could have been. When there is one 10000 bc creature its great, but when there are multible ones they look the same, in the bad way. You know what I mean. The movie was bad. Bad names for people and tribes were included. Also, there were no bow and arrows in 10000 bc and the creatures in the movie were all in the americas but they were in a european cultural enviroment. There is almost no place on earth where you can match all this up.

This is a fantastic film. Well-done, innovative, intriguing/interesting.
And I KNOW that its incorrect from a historical point of view.

As others have pointed out...this was a good mix of a bunch of very popular movies. If you like CGI and recycled action sequences, this is for u.

If you like the trailers on this movie then you best tivo them, to watch later. The rest of the movie was a big let down for me. This whole movie is just wrong. "Waterworld" anyone?

This film is like Stargate, Apocalypto, and 300 all wrapped into one. As cool as that sounds, it really isn't. 10,000 BC had a really good plot, but didn't execute it fairly well. It's about the first hero ever (I mean EVER), but the perspective of the first hero ever was like there were many other heroes before the supposedly "first hero ever", or in this case, O'Leh. I was excited about this movie and wanted to see it the first day it came out, but wasn't able to see it in theatres at all. So, I rented it, nearly bought it (thank the Lord I didn't), and I was happy that I rented it. In 10,000 BC, you don't get what you expect, and what you don't expect isn't really that entertaining. The only thing that saves this two-star movie from becoming a one-star is the fact that the plot was brilliant, but, like I said, it was executed very poorly. Hopefully, we'll see better out of Roland Emmerich.

Same as Sheep .. I was so excited about the trailers but after ive seen the movie, not at all impressed. I can say that the movie is bad.
Story is to classic, nope didn't enjoyed :D. Dont have anything more to say haha

  Emmerich has no time for poetry or magic, even when the director and his digital wizards (here doing wildly variable work) are trying to dazzle. He's a taskmaster and a field marshall, not a visionary. But I enjoyed 10,000 B.C. more and more, and more than just about anything Emmerich's done before.

  What chaps my hide more is that I've seen 10,000 BC. I've seen it three times in the last year and a half. Except in the one that I saw, it centered instead on Mayans, was mostly historically accurate, and was called "Apocalypto."
