A very good movie that shows a devoted and loving father searching for his missing daughter. I would like to see more movies like this one.

It was an absolutely brilliant action thriller, addressing some controversial issues which other films in the genre sometimes avoid. Liam Neeson gives a blinding performance as a resourceful, merciless father out on a revenge mission, and lets no-one get in the way. It has a hard hitting storyline, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Definitely unmissable.

Just a tip: but you need to see the movie release from Europe/Asia, which is different than the one from North America. You will thank me for it later. There are a few scenes that were changed, which I found were MUCH better in the other release....

There are a few scenes that were changed, which I found were MUCH better in the other release. Also, I cannot believe the critics gave it bad reviews. Maybe they saw the N.A. release as well. But wow. It's been a LONG LONG time since I had a movie make me go WOW. I've watched a lot of action and shoot-em-up movies, but I saw things in this one I NEVER saw before. It was quite refreshing. Even some of the more famous action movies I would find scenes that were a little cheesy. NOT this one.

Liam Neeson may not be your typical 'Bruce Willis' action star, but that is what is so great about him. He's calm, cool, collected, and downright scary good in this movie. I was very impressed by the whole thing.
